Executive/Communications Assistant
Executive/Communication Assistant - Provides professional grade administrative, technical and communications support to President and Senior Vice Presidents demonstrating innovation and creativity while performing essential functions. This position interacts with UHC’s Board of Trustees and department managers, and requires diplomacy and discretion. Responsibilities - Duties include preparing correspondence and media releases, creating PowerPoint presentations and charts, preparing and updating reports, scheduling travel, and arranging meetings. Coordination, planning and execution of special company events is an important function. Continuous evaluation of UHC website to assure information is current and relevant to UHC’s constituents is required. Skills - Applicant must have strong writing skills including proper use of the English language with accuracy in grammar and spelling, strong and appropriate verbal skills, demonstrable computer skills including Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint and Excel.) Applicants must be creative, detail-oriented and organized; working independently in this highly responsible position. Preferred background - Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Communication, English or other relevant subject, and four years of employment in an office environment, performing related duties with a similar responsibility level.
